WordPress plugin development

WordPress plugins, built the WordPress.org way

We ship our own plugins on WordPress.org, so every custom plugin we write follows the same standards: secure, translatable and safe to update. Fixed-bid quotes and a working build every week.

What we build

Plugins that do one job well

From a small admin tool to a full feature set, delivered as a normal installable plugin with the full source code.

01

Custom plugins

Features your site needs that no off-the-shelf plugin covers, built with clean, documented PHP.

02

Gutenberg blocks

Blocks for the block editor with sensible controls, so editors can use them without help.

03

Admin tools and settings

Settings pages, dashboards and workflows that make a site easier to run day to day.

04

API integrations

Connect your site to the third-party services you already use, with proper error handling.

05

Privacy and compliance

Consent, cookies and data handling features. We maintain our own GDPR plugin on WordPress.org.

06

Fixes and takeovers

Review an existing plugin first, then agree what to fix, update or rewrite.

How it works

From brief to a released plugin

A simple process, so you always know what happens next.

1. Scope

You describe the job. We ask the right questions and send a fixed-bid quote.

2. Build

We develop in short milestones and show you a working build every week.

3. Test

We test on current WordPress and PHP versions and run the Plugin Check tool before release.

4. Release and support

You get the plugin and its source code. We stay on for fixes and new features.

Questions

WordPress plugin development questions

Do you build custom WordPress plugins?
Yes. We build custom plugins, Gutenberg blocks, admin tools and integrations with third-party APIs. You receive a normal installable plugin with the full source code, so you are never locked in.
Are your own plugins on WordPress.org?
Yes. MatrixInn GDPR, MatrixInn Floating Buttons and MatrixInn Migrate & Backup are live in the WordPress.org plugin directory, and Migrate & Backup also has a paid Pro add-on with encrypted backups and your own cloud storage. Shipping through plugin review ourselves means we know what reviewers look for.
How do you keep plugins secure and safe to update?
We follow the WordPress coding standards: input sanitising, output escaping, nonces and capability checks, and clean uninstall behaviour. Before a release we run the Plugin Check tool and test on current WordPress and PHP versions.
How is a plugin project priced?
After a short scoping call we send a fixed-bid quote, so there are no surprise invoices. You also get a working build every week while we develop.
Can you take over or fix an existing plugin?
Yes. We review the existing code first, then agree what to fix, update or rewrite before quoting.
