Create a Shipping, Returns or FAQ tab one time and show it on every product it applies to, instead of copying text into each description.

Rules and exceptions

Show each tab on all products or by tag, type, vendor, collection or product. Exceptions hide it where it does not apply, like Returns on final-sale items.

Tabs on computers, accordion on phones

Auto layout shows tabs side by side on large screens and a tap-to-open accordion on phones. Or pick one layout everywhere.

Start from a ready template or a blank tab. Add headings, lists, links, tables and images, with a live preview.

Setup

How it works

Start your free trial
When the app is listed, add it to your store and start the 14-day free trial from its dashboard.
Create your tabs
Pick a template or a blank tab, write the content and choose where it shows: all products or by tag, type, vendor, collection or product, with exceptions.
Add the block to your product page
Click "Add to product page" on the dashboard. The theme editor opens with the Product tabs block already added; move it if you like and save. There is no theme code to edit.
Choose the look
Pick Auto, Tabs or Accordion, a tab style, colors and icons. Reorder tabs on the Tabs page; that is the order shoppers see.

Fast and private. Tabs are saved in your own store and rendered as plain HTML in the page. No cookies, nothing stored on the shopper's device, and the app asks for no access to your products, orders or customers.

Questions, answered honestly

Is MatrixInn Product Tabs in the Shopify App Store yet?

Not yet. The app has been submitted and is under Shopify review. This page will link to the App Store listing as soon as the review is finished. To hear when it is live, send us a message.

Do I need to edit theme code?

No. The tabs are an app block that you add to your product page in the theme editor, so it works with themes that support app blocks (Online Store 2.0 themes).

Can a tab show on some products but not others?

Yes. Each tab shows on all products or only on products with a chosen tag, type, vendor, collection or handle. An "Except on" rule hides it on products that match, for example a Returns tab on final-sale items.

How does it look on phones?

With the Auto layout, tabs show side by side on computers and as a tap-to-open accordion on phones. You can also use tabs or the accordion on every screen size.

Is there a free trial, and how do I cancel?

Yes, 14 days free. After that it is $1.99 per 30 days, billed through Shopify. You can cancel from the app dashboard or your Shopify admin, and the tabs are removed from your store.

What data does the app store?

The app requests no access to your products, orders or customers. Your tabs and settings are saved in your own store, and nothing is sent to our servers when a shopper views a product. The full privacy policy is linked at the bottom of this page.
