FAQ

Common questions

Is CalcForSellers free?
Yes. All the calculators are free and need no account.
How do I know the numbers are right?
Every calculator shows the formula it uses and a worked example you can type in to get the same result. Fee calculators say which fee schedule they use and when it was last checked, because platforms change their fees.
Which platforms are covered?
Shopify, Etsy, Amazon FBA, eBay, TikTok Shop, Whatnot, Depop, Poshmark and Mercari for selling fees, and Stripe, PayPal, Square, Venmo and Cash App for payment fees.
Are the results financial advice?
No. They are estimates to help you plan, not tax, legal or financial advice. Check fees with your platform before you rely on them.
Who makes it?
MatrixInn Solutions, a small team that builds Shopify apps. The same questions about margins and fees kept coming up from store owners, so we put the answers in one place.
